An international consulting services organisation

circleindigo enabled consultants to enhance and extend their existing facilitation skills. We helped build capability and competence based on a globally recognised core competence model for facilitation.

Business need

  • To enable client facing consultants to enhance and extend their existing facilitation competence and skills
  • To understand and develop core competence based on a globally recognised facilitation core competence model and certification programme
  • To build enhanced facilitation skill through practise
  • To support and build on existing internal learning and development programmes

What circleindigo did

  • Consultation with senior consultants
  • Reviewed and researched existing learning and development programmes
  • Designed and delivered a two day high performance facilitation skills programme built around a globally recognised facilitation core competence model
  • Built in two opportunities for each participant to practice and develop facilitation competence and skills
  • Designed a high performance facilitation skills workbook for use both during the programme and in the workplace

  • Enabled the development of enhanced and high performance facilitation skills and competence
  • Developed a broader understanding of high performance facilitation skills, methodologies, tools and techniques
  • Increased ability to intervene and manage ‘difficult’ group situations
  • Improved facilitation confidence and ability of consultants working with clients and facilitating client workshops
  • Increased workshop group effectiveness

Client feedback

The verbal feedback I have received from a few of the participants is that it was an excellent course and the “jungle drums” are rarely wrong. So well done, our people, like consultants in general, can be a tough and critical audience from whom praise is hard won and therefore thoroughly deserved. Thank you again.
